DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY/HANOI – DA LAT CITY
– You will arrange your own transportation to Da Lat (Vietnam Fishing Tours will assist you in booking air tickets/bus tickets for you if needed)
– Check in and take a rest at a 4-star hotel. Free time to rest and explore Dalat at night, have dinner at your own expense.
DAY 2: OVER THE FOREST HUNTING FOR MAHSEER
Morning:
– Having breakfast at the hotel.
– 7:00 am: Our car picks you up and departs for Bidoup National Park
– 8:00 am: Arrive at the rally point, start the journey to conquer Mahseer fishes.
– You will follow the stream and select appropriate fishing sites to catch Mahseer.
– Once you reach the campsite, set up tent, have lunch, and relax.
Afternoon:
– Continue your journey upstream to find Mahseer.
– Mahseer’s ideal habitat is rivers and streams deep in the forest, areas without human footprints, with fast-flowing water and high levels of oxygen. The two main species found in these areas are Blue Mahseer and Stracheyi Mahseer. You could be fortunate enough to catch a large Mahseer.
– Return to the campsite, and have a meal of mountain specialties. You can also spend the night fishing for salween catfish and other native fish.
DAY 3: CONTINUE THE TRIP
Morning:
– Waking up to welcome the sunrise, having breakfast and enjoy a cup of morning coffee.
– Depart along the stream border, fishing at any suitable spot until you reach a the new camping spot
– Arrive at the new camping site bordering Chu Yang Sin National Park, set up tent, have lunch, and take a break.
Afternoon:
– Continue downward the stream to catch Mahseer or build bamboo raft with our tour guide (depending on the time)
Having dinner and staying overnight. You can also spend the night fishing for Salween catfish and other native fish.
DAY 4: BACK TO DA LAT CITY
Morning:
– Have breakfast + coffee, move back to the original rally point by road or bamboo raft (depending on time)
– Stop for lunch along the way
Afternoon:
– Arrive at the rally point, the car will pick you up and take you back to Da Lat
– Check in the hotel and take a rest. Enjoy a dinner party in Da Lat, reviewing experiences during the trip.
DAY 5: DA LAT CITY – HO CHI MINH CITY/HANOI
Morning:
– Having breakfast at the hotel, free to explore Da Lat beautiful city
– Check out the hotel and you will arrange your own transportation to Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam Fishing Tours will assist you in booking air tickets/bus tickets for you if needed)
